It started in Flat 3004, with late-night conversations, half-finished ideas and that familiar itch to build something of our own.

We had always been the kind of people who make things: tweaking, experimenting, obsessing over details most people walk past. Somewhere between those conversations and creations, one question stayed with us. What if we made this real?

That question became Layered by V&P.

The objects you see every day shouldn’t feel disposable or forgettable. They should feel intentional.

Our ideas come from ordinary life. A desk that feels too empty. A shelf waiting for something with character. A gift that ought to feel personal rather than generic.

Whenever something makes us pause and think this could be better, that is usually where a new piece begins.

Everything we make starts with an idea, never a product category. Sometimes it’s a sketch, sometimes a passing conversation, sometimes a request that makes us ask: why not?

Each piece is built layer by layer and refined along the way. We test proportions, finishes and the smallest details until it feels right.

Nothing leaves our studio unless we would happily keep it ourselves.

Layered by V&P is a work in progress, and we like it that way. New pieces arrive often: some planned, some spontaneous, some born purely out of curiosity.

The collection grows as we do, built on experimenting, learning and always asking what could be better next time.
